At least for the next few months, Braun Strowman has been cycled out of the Universal Title conversation on Raw. Royal Rumble was his final shot at Brock Lesnar and the title until after WrestleMania, and it now looks like Strowman will have to find something else to do and a suitable opponent for the biggest night of the year.

Expect to see Braun challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Title. That's what Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer are reporting anyway; Meltzer claimed he had word from those inside WWE that Braun would clash with Miz for the secondary strap at 'Mania. If that happens, it'll be a nice distraction and fill a hole in Strowman's schedule.

The worst thing WWE could do is stick Braun in a one-on-one match against Kane, or something similar. That match might bore everyone in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to death if it occurs, and it wouldn't quite have the sizzle on the mic that Braun vs. Miz would.
