6 Things WWE Have Done Right So Far This WrestleMania Season (And 6 They Haven't)

The Right:

6. Rusev Actually Has A Chance Of Beating Cena

Rusev has yet to be pinned or made to submit on WWE programming. He has been on a destructive role for almost a year, and has defeated former World Champions and has been virtually unstoppable, especially since he won the U.S. Championship. At Fast Lane, Rusev defeated WWE€™s golden boy John Cena, albeit controversially, thus establishing himself as a serious threat to the WWE. Recently, WWE have adopted a narrative where Cena€™s reign at the top and his dominion over WWE has been brought into question ever since Rusev made Cena pass out to his Accolade submission hold. This coupled with how Rusev has been booked as a virtual equal to Cena has led to the possibility that Rusev might actually win at WrestleMania. If this happens, his star power is certain to rise to even greater heights. While some people aren€™t so sure about Rusev€™s possible victory over Cena, especially since Rusev has been €˜dodging€™ Cena€™s challenge, the way that this rivalry has been presented has led to an interesting match-up where John Cena does not have a guaranteed chance of winning. It€™s this kind of narrative, where both combatants are presented as virtual equals that makes for a compelling match.
