6 Things WWE Have Done Right So Far This WrestleMania Season (And 6 They Haven't)
1. Keeping The Undertaker Off WWE Programming Until WrestleMania Itself
The Undertakers last two WrestleMania appearances highlighted the seriousness of his aging and how he should really be getting close to retirement. During the build up to WrestleMania XXIX, Undertaker vs. CM Punk wasnt announced until very late in WrestleMania season due to Taker barely passing the physical requirements. Last year, the build-up his encounter with Brock Lesnar was weak by comparison, with few official encounters between the two of them at all. As for this year, for some strange reason, WWEs top brass have decided to keep the Undertaker off of WWE TV until WrestleMania itself. While this might be a good way to build intrigue towards the Undertakers encounter with Bray Wyatt, this feud is becoming very similar to the Triple H vs. Sting encounter, where only one party is doing all of the talking and all of the promotion for the event. In the Undertaker/Bray Wyatt case, Wyatt is doing all of the talking, and though his promos are unique and more engaging when compared to other WWE Superstars, there is a growing number of people who are starting to get bored with this one-sided feud. WWE had another opportunity for the Undertaker to appear this past week on RAW, yet nothing happened. It couldve been very simple for WWE to do one of those Undertaker mind games, where a lightning bolt crashes down near Wyatt, and a message would appear on the Titantron indicating Undertaker accepting the match. Instead, fans are left with no sign of the Undertaker, and there is no justification for the Undertaker even accepting the match whatsoever.
