6 Ups & 1 Down For AEW Collision (Feb 3 - Results & Review)

Down...

1. Hook Does... Stuff... Again

Hook is great; a white-hot prospect who seems destined to be a huge star for years to come.

With that said, could Collision not have utilised the three minutes of Hook vs. Outrunners for something else? For instance, while the arrival of certain CMLL names could and should be fun, how about using that time to flesh-out those CMLL stars or to run a video package explaining why these luchadors have decided to target AEW and, in particular, the Blackpool Combat Club?

Yes, the Hook win served as a victory for the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil as he bounces back from his recent loss to AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, but it just feels like this time could've been better used; be that for a slightly longer, mildly competitive Hook match, or for another talent to have had some time in the spotlight in some form or fashion.

In short, it feels like Hook is already so far passed these sorts of appearances that were so prevalent during those formative in-ring months.
