6 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Late Night Dynamite (Sep 22)

Ups...

6. A Glimpse Of The Future?

Lord knows when AEW's oft-reported second network show will debut, but Late Night Dynamite was an encouraging preview of what it could entail once the market research is complete and Tony Khan and TNT are ready to pull the trigger.

Coming in at just 44 minutes without commercials (shout-outs to FITE.tv for trimming those), this was one of the year's breeziest wrestling shows. Not a second of it dragged. With only three matches and a handful of small storyline developments, LND was fun, easy to watch, and everything got as much time as it needed. A solid audition for what could come in the future - and definitely preferable to throwing something akin to Dark on TNT.

AEW's second show probably isn't happening anytime soon, though the promotion could do worse than following this blueprint.
