6 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Late Night Dynamite (Sep 22)

4. Hyping Brodie Vs. Orange

Brodie Lee
AEW

The short Brodie Lee vs. Orange Cassidy hype piece was well done, with Taz putting the TNT Champion over as a mega-threat, interspersed with footage of Brodie's title win, victory promo, and various bruising victories. It was then asserted that Cassidy would likely need to drop the comedy shtick and get serious to avoid becoming another Cody, setting an appropriate tone ahead of their showdown on tonight's episode of Dynamite.

Again, nothing exceptional here: just good, solid work. Hype segments don't always need to be melodramatic five-minuters with butt-rock soundtracks. Sometimes, a few talking heads and highlights will do.
