6 Ups & 1 Down From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (June 27)

5. The Case Continues

The switch from ‘Fashion Files’ to ‘Fashion Vice’ hasn’t changed much outside of giving Breezango some fresh new blazers and switching the footage to a 1980s-style aspect ratio, but the segments remain a highlight. This week’s saw The Ascension interrogated for trashing the office and attacking Tyler Breeze the last time round, and it was as fun as always.

The usual easter eggs were there, with Michael Hayes and Raven serving as this week's subjects. Konnor & Viktor denied their role in the crime, and they weren’t swayed by Fandango’s attempt to coerce them with Eddie Money concert tickets. Apparently, they only listen to ‘grindcore thrash metal,’ if that’s even a real genre.

Breeze, playing the bad cop, tried to intimidate The Ascension with an impressive arsenal of water pistols, but they remained steadfast. A bustle came from the office, and when Breezango stepped into the next room, the place had been wrecked again, absolving The Ascension of all guilt.

The segment was as light-hearted and entertaining as ever, continuing Breeze & Fandango’s recent shine, and giving Konnor & Viktor a rare opportunity to show some personality on television.
