6 Ups & 1 Down From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Oct 18)

1. X Division Closes The Show

It's been said time and time again over the years, and it will continue to be told. The X Division has been, and will always be, Impact's greatest feature.

The main event of this week's show saw Brian Cage defend his X Division Championship against Rich Swann in what has to be considered one of the best Impact TV matches of the year. There was a moment in the match where Cage caught Swann mid-somersault, and powerbombed him spine-first in to one of the steel ring posts. What a savage man.

It's matches like this that have helped put Impact back on the map. Of course the new management has been a big helping hand in building the company back up too - after all, they're the people making all the on-screen stuff possible. But the in-ring action is what most people would be paying more attention to. Main event matches that have this much intensity just help create a great visual for the promotion.

As if this match wasn't good enough, it looks like Cage's next challenger will be Sami Callihan. That just spells all sorts of greatness!
