6 Ups & 1 Down From WWE SmackDown (30 Aug - Results & Review)

Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes get tense! SmackDown's women get hardcore before Bash In Berlin.

The Bloodline didn't make it to Berlin for this week's SmackDown. Solo Sikoa and crew did appear in a pre-taped promo warning either Cody Rhodes or Kevin Owens that they'll be watching, but that was about it. Honestly? That's fine. Others had the chance to take centre stage on Friday's episode, and there was enough star power thanks to Cody, KO, Bayley and more.

Triple H previewed the Bash In Berlin PLE by giving German fans some seriously good wrestling matches too. The opener, tag-team bout, Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes and the hardcore-style main event were all worth seeing. There wasn't a dud on the lineup, which really goes to show the strength of WWE right now.

That's reflected in this article too. There's only one 'Down' to report, and even that's arguable.

Saturday's show is 100% the latest slice of 'house show hits pay-per-view', but it should still be an enjoyable night nonetheless. SmackDown sure was - there was loads of variety, a meaningful face to face featuring top stars, and there was even enough time for a quick Money In The Bank tease.

Here's all the good and a little bit of bad!
