6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (February 21 - Results & Review)

1. Eurgh, Ric Flair

Ric Flair AEW
AEW

Ric Flair was shown entering the arena. He didn't look happy, and explained that he is upset because he thought he'd be more involved in the celebrations surrounding Sting. In what is probably a ruse on the part of the babyfaces, he sought out the Young Bucks in a teased alliance.

What could Flair possibly offer at this point? His chops look like absolute sh*t, and that's all he can do. Even if he could impart advice about how to play dirty, with his knowledge of Sting's weaknesses, he can't articulate it. You can barely make out what he's saying these days.

This is as believable a story as AEW has ever told - of course Flair is gwumpy about not being the centre of attention - but they shouldn't be telling it.

Nobody asked for Flair. The creep no longer has a place in wrestling. He is ruining the vibe of the Sting retirement programme and the feel-good reckoning it promises.

More importantly, away from the fiction, he shouldn't be around women.
