6 Ups & 2 Downs From Before The Impact (Feb 16)
1. Short And Bitter
To fill some time, Before The Impact featured two quick skits, entitled Social Media Top Five (the top five social media posts from Impact's official accounts based on likes, retweets, etc) and Clapback of the Week (the worst social media post from an Impact wrestler). These weren't entirely bad - they were just far, far too short.
You would expect the broadcast team to examine these posts in more detail, but instead, they merely mentioned each post, and moved on. The Social Media Top Five, for example, lasted thirty seconds from start to finish. In reality, that's a minimum of how long each post included in it should have lasted.
Why do the team think these posts did so well? What other posts would the team like to have seen included? These are the sort of questions the trio should have been including. If these are to continue on future broadcasts, we need to see a change in the format.
