6 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's NXT (26 Feb)

Downs...

2. Circling The Dain

Killian Dain
NXT

Killian Dian is a talented wrestler who could, with the right program, and the right opponents can be a top-level talent in pretty much any promotion, But the very fact I have to preface every single point I make about him with that should speak absolute volumes by now... it's still somehow not clicking.

How NXT fix this issue is beyond me at this point, as a mega push would be roundly undeserved, and a long-running feud with the talent available to him is unlikely to get anyone's pulses racing. One thing they shouldn't be doing though is keeping him lukewarm by squashing people who are arguably better positioned than he is. 3-minute squashes again Boa work alright, but people actually like Bronson Reed.

And so they should, despite the fact he's taken the L from Shane Thorne, Matt Riddle, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, Dominik Dijakovic, Roderick Strong and, now, Killian Dain, he's always looked really good in the defeat. The desire is there for him to go on something resembling a run, and having him lay down for a perennial feud loser sucks all the air of him.

Long story short, both men need to be made better use of.
