Oh hey! Baron Corbin on the 'Up' half of the list. Well, alright! My patronising nonsense aside, Baron Corbin may be finally finding his stride in NXT. After bursting onto the scene in September last year with a series of electric squash matches, bolstered by his astonishing finisher, the fans got behind him in a big way. Then he was pushed beyond his capabilities and his weaknesses in competing in longer matches were exposed. With the bloom off the rose, fans rejected his next run of squashes and Corbin seemed destined for the wrong kind of heat for the rest of his days. Thankfully, after a series of decent matches, first against Samoa Joe at TakeOver Brooklyn, then against Gable and Jordan at TakeOver Respect and, finally, last night's surprisingly good encounter with Tye Dillinger, Corbin may have turned the fans around ... again. He has a few more moves and his heeling has become much more effective, so much so that he's turning the negativity of fan boredom into useful heat. Long may he continue to improve.
