6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE Bash In Berlin (Results & Review)

4. Just Stupid Fun

WWE Bash in Berlin Rhea Ripley Dominik Mysterio

The mixed tag match pitting Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan against the Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) never was going to break Dave Meltzer’s star-rating scale. What it was going to be was a goofy, silly, fun time for everyone.

Liv and Dom were clearly overmatched, comically gassed, and in danger of losing at any given moment, but they used underhanded tactics to temporarily gain control, with Morgan even pulling out a Quetzalcoatl for a near-fall (she really should consider keeping that in her arsenal). Priest and Ripley never looked in true danger, until the rest of Judgment Day ran down and interfered, giving fans a scare when Mysterio hit a frogsplash for a close two count.

In the end, it was Ripley vanquishing Morgan to give the Terror Twins the expected win. That also could set Rhea up for a rematch for the Women’s World Championship in the near future, but it also wouldn’t be shocking if another roadblock popped up to slow her charge to the title. Priest will tangle with Finn Balor soon, and that should also be a good next step for him.
