Aaaaaand that's a wrap on the story between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams for now. Both men will make a splash on WWE's main roster, but it's Hayes who looks set to get the nod first before his ex-partner. Trick still has some stuff to achieve on Tuesdays, which only makes his win at Stand & Deliver more pleasing.

What a cracking main event.

No titles were on the line, obviously, but it speaks to the strength of the personal drama between these one-time friends that they were able to headline the show anyway. Carmelo was akin to a ring general out there too; he kept things moving, and very-much dictated the pace. That bodes well for him on Raw or SmackDown.

How about Trick? Well, he's poised to become NXT's next breakout sensation. There's a reason why Paul Heyman has been hyping Williams up in the media, and Booker T's smile as Stand & Deliver went off the air says everything there too - legends aren't wrong about this dude, people.

He's money.
