Did...did WWE just magnify how little they're doing with Shotzi and Aliyah?

That's what this fan took away from them bickering backstage about Raquel Rodriguez pushing her way to the front of the line for a SmackDown Women's Title shot. The argument didn't make much sense in the first place; Ronda Rousey sent out an "Open Challenge", meaning either woman could've seized the day.

They didn't though. No, instead, they decided to hurl insults at one another and wonder aloud how Adam Pearce could let this happen. Again, Raquel answered an "Open Challenge" from the new SmackDown Women's Champ. Pearce didn't set anything up.

What a colossal waste of time this backstage skit was. WWE spotlighted their own booking inadequacies with Shotzi and Aliyah, then made them both look stupid for not understanding how the ancient championship challenge gimmick works.
