6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 11)
4. A Mini-Feud That Works For Both
Take a bow, LA Knight.
He was the first one to realistically respond to those Bray Wyatt graphics that keep flashing up during backstage promos behind wrestlers. Knight was having none of it, and yelled at an off-screen WWE staff member to sort it out. Naturally, that brought Bray into the equation.
LA began badmouthing 'Firefly Fun House', so Wyatt floored him with a headbutt and looked conflicted about it. Not only does this push Bray's internal struggles, but it also lines up a surefire match vs. Knight in the near future. That's a good thing, because it'll help Wyatt shake off some ring rust.
No-one would've had a betting slip with '10 bucks' and 'LA Knight' written on it when they were guessing Bray's first feud back, but this will be a giggle regardless. Giving Wyatt a natural heel to work with, then furthering his 'good vs. evil' dilemma, sounds great.
