6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 24 - Results & Review)

1. That Drama-Filled Main Event

Leaning on old tensions between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair was the right way to go on SmackDown. The former friends worked an at times excellent main event tag vs. Bayley and Asuka in the headline spot, and it successfully pulled the nose up on an otherwise-tame round of women's WarGames build.

Perhaps this match does have a shot at greatness after all.

There's tension bubbling away over on the Damage CTRL side too, which is something to look out for after Survivor Series. Whilst this writer definitely feels like the women's double cage effort is a little too weak and thrown-together overall, what WWE produced here was an improvement on last week.

Charlotte and Becky being respectful to one another could only go so far before things got feisty, and that stand off cost them towards the end of Friday's TV. That's something WWE can use to garnish the WarGames match and actually give it some purpose.

Damage CTRL still have to win it in the end though.
