6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 22 - Results & Review)

4. Still See The Potential

'The Grayson & Theory Effect' (which is a completely sh*t name yours truly just made up and one WWE should avoid) still has bags of potential. Austin and Waller are great together, so it was neat to see them pick up a win over Butch and Ridge Holland on Smackers.

Score another one for solid tags.

The chemistry these dudes have should be obvious for all to see, and that includes Triple H/creative behind the scenes. Honestly, Waller and Theory could go on to become Undisputed Tag-Team Champs at some point in 2024 if this sort of goodness sustains into the new year.

Meanwhile, one can see The Brawling Brutes going the other way pre-WrestleMania. Butch and Ridge are a lower-tier tag, and that's never going to last forever. Pete Dunne defo deserves the chance to strike out on his own and maybe feud with Sheamus post-split (just an idea).
