6 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (Dec 9 - Results & Review)

1. Misogynistic Miro

While CJ Perry managing talents who aren't Miro is an intriguing proposition, added to nicely by the smart pairing of Perry and Andrade El Idolo, could Tony Khan have used something other than misogyny as the base for the issues between this real-life married couple? Opting to take things in that direction is certainly a choice.

As seen on AEW Collision, the beef between CJ and Miro stems from how the Redeemer expects her to stay at home to cook and clean. How dare she want to have her own career and be anything more than a doting housewife pulled straight out of the 1950s? CJ should simply be happy to stay home and clean the fish that Miro catches...

Could we not do any better than this? Having CJ Perry and Miro on opposing sides has so much potential, and the inevitable Miro meeting with Andrade should be fantastic, but did we really need to drop in how the Bulgarian Brute is pissed off that CJ isn't a good little wifey who stays home and does the ironing? That story wrinkle just seems so unnecessary when looking at ways to cause friction between this husband and wife duo.
