6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 15)

2. Chaos Project vs. Best Friends

Serpentico Trent
AEW

This bout almost slipped into the previous slide - and would have if not for the strange layout and clunky offensive performance from Luther, who looked like he lost his timing on a couple of occasions.

Best Friends were beaten down for the majority of the runtime before scoring a roll-up victory out of nowhere. Rather than coming off like a product of skill, ingenuity, and timing, the suddenness of it all resembled a bad WWE finish, though Trent and Chuck Taylor winning was the right outcome.

Miro came out to try and fight Best Friends after the bell, so at least there was some storyline advancement.
