6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 15)

Ups...

6. KiLynn King vs. Hikaru Shida

Hikaru Shida KiLynn King
AEW

A good, solid, competitive squash here, which should have been expected given that King appears to be signed to AEW now.

'The Full Metal Champion' sold plenty for her opponent but never looked out of reach of a comeback. Constantly stifling King's control with spirited comebacks, she ended up putting KiLynn away via leaping knee and Falcon Arrow. The deal was, indeed, done.

The post-match was preferable to recent Abadon/Shida developments as well. Rather than selling fear for 'The Living Dead Girl,' cowering in her presence, the Women's Champion was bundled off the top rope then smashed with Abadon's finisher. Simple, effective, and unharmful.
