6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 15)

4. Brian Cage vs. VSK

Brian Cage
AEW

This was similar to Brian Cage's match with Danny Limelight last week. More of a short popping sprint than a squash, it saw the wrestlers barely rest for a second as they launched offense at each other, and that's fine. Whether squashing or sprinting, 'The Machine' comes out looking good.

An early Drill Claw attempt was stifled by VSK, who had moments of shine with dives and other quick moves, sending Taz into a tirade about Cage not following the gameplan. This justified VSK's offensive periods, even though big Brian was never in any real danger.

Cage ended it with the Drill Claw after hitting his awesome outside-in suplex.
