6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 29)

5. Tag Tournament Hype

Lucha Brothers vs. SCU
AEW

How good is this Lucha Brothers vs. SoCal Uncensored programme?

AEW started building towards this tag team collision on Dynamite's first episode. Tony Schiavone was interviewing Scorpio Sky, Christopher Daniels, and Frankie Kazarian ahead of the Tag Team Championship Tournament when Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix interrupted, sparking a brawl. We've since had the Luchas ambushing Daniels on his way to the ring for their Best Friends clash, leading to a fired-up Sky taking his buddy's place and running the show against The Dark Order last week, leading to tonight's grand finale.

A well-prepared video package highlighting all of this. AEW have done a great job of building SCU as sympathetic babyfaces against the brutal, arm-snapping Lucha Brothers and while the story was already delivering prior to Dark, this was a fun refresher.
