Death Triangle were in need of a win, some cohesion and frankly a little bit of pride in themselves if The Elite's Full Gear return was to be even a slither more than a forgone conclusion. The booking here ensured that, and gave A.R Fox the type of showcase that might get him another appearance at a minimum and an #AllElite graphic at best.

A match made entirely of empty calorie high spots, said moves were performed so gracefully that they were impossible to resent. This was a welcome return for Top Flight as a duo and Darius Martin in particular too - with Dante's singles aspirations stalled, they made a case for taking a run at the tag belts unless Fox was indeed good enough to keep the three as a trio a little longer. Only solid for this genre, the performers made it memorably so, and more power to them for it.

PAC's post-match promo crucially framed the Champions as fully aware of their fate. They'd seen the tapes, and 'The BASTARD' was in no mood for games. He seemed to frighten the tech team into revealing the match graphic, which could have felt like a damp squib of a real had it not been signposted clearly enough for the wrestlers themselves to acknowledge. The match was always better advertised than kept as a surprise, and the home team are coming back to try and reclaim their belts.
