Like the TNT Champion himself, there wasn't an ounce of fat on the segment that set up Wardlow's killer three-way at Full Gear.
Samoa Joe arrived first to explain that his turn was to remind the young star that he should keep his eyes open to threats like him rather that disrespectfully looking right past him as he'd done more than once. Out came a fearless Powerhouse Hobbs to pie any post-WarJoe tension if it got in the way of his aspirations to deck 'The War Dog' until Wardlow himself arrived and the brawl was on.
A locker room clearance to try and keep them apart was more pleasing than the usual security scrubs, particularly as they fed into a nice bit with Wardlow. The Champion battered them with ease before asking The Dark Order if they really wanted any of that. When they politely declined and stepped aside, he hit the ringside throng with one of his awesome dives. This was full-bodied big boy bullsh*t to set up a match that should be more of the same.
