6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (27 Oct)

3. Kingston & Danielson Turn Up The Heat

Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson brims with intensity. It began last week, when a promo that originally aired on Rhodes to the Top saw Danielson rip King for his perceived lack of work ethic, leading to Eddie, the realest guy in any room he walks into, blasting back here.

As authentic as they come, Kingston unpacked the depressing behind the anger behind the will do to Very Bad Things that comes close to consuming him every single day. He's trying to live a dream, not get locked up, and when Danielson dismissed his hard work, he clearly struck a nerve. "Excuse my back," Eddie said, walking away.

Danielson snapped on the microphone. That Eddie's case isn't special was the crux of his point. Everybody fights battles, everybody wades through crap, but they don't moan about it. They go out and put in the work.

A fantastic, simmering segment that threatened to boil over with poor Tony Schiavone stuck in the middle, this was a delicious appetiser for their Rampage match. Here's hoping the duo are able to match that intensity level in the ring.
