6 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (May 15)

2. Where Do We Go From Here?

What in the world is going on with Rusev Day at the moment?

A few weeks ago, Lana insinuated that Aiden English was a millstone around her husband's neck, teasing a split for the popular duo. Then, 'The Bulgarian Brute' crushed Daniel Bryan in singles competition. A huge win, and it was followed up with a backstage segment last night, in which Rusev, Lana, and English were seemingly a united front once more, with 'The Ravishing Russian' hyping next week's Money In The Bank qualifier against Billie Kay.

WWE are swerving all over the place with Rusev's crew at the moment. Lana should be part of the act, as aligning with Tamina was a gross misuse of her managerial talents, but the writers need to decide if she's to be harmonious or a disruptor. As much as a split would stink (particularly for Aiden), it's odd that WWE would tease it without following up.

We'll never complain about these wonderful performers getting increased TV time, but a little direction would be nice.
