6 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Dec 3)

Ryan Satin's succinct set of stories actually broke news of note this week, and though his short segment may yet crush his credibility as a journalist outside of WWE's auspices, these tidbits were welcome additions to the show.
Confirming a months-old rumour about John Morrison making his WWE return, Satin also provided an update on the whereabouts of Dio Maddin.
The new Raw announcer has been absent since taking an F5 from Brock Lesnar several weeks ago, but an explanation beyond his sell was given here - Maddin apparently wants to give his in-ring career a shot in the arm, and has returned to the Performance Center to follow this through. Added to this, Samoa Joe was confirmed as his (presently) temporary replacement.
