Downs…

3. Missed Opportunity With Madcap

Question: If Madcap Moss is no longer Happy Corbin’s joke-telling sidekick, why is he still going by the “Madcap” moniker?

Answer: WWE has it branded and isn’t willing to change it simply for common-sense purposes.

Seriously though, they had the chance to have Moss revert to Riddick as his first name on SmackDown, or even at Hell in a Cell, signifying a break from that character. He even debuted a new look on Friday, ditching the suspenders and getup for more traditional black trunks. What better time to discard the 1920s nickname as well?

Maybe they will yet, but now you have a superstar whose name completely doesn’t fit his character’s appearance.
