6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Monday Night Raw (10 November - Results & Review)

2. Just A Match II

WWE Raw Sheamus Shinsuke Nakamura

The second of the two Last Time Is Now Tournament matches on Raw Monday night sadly was no better than the first in every aspect.

Shinsuke Nakamura versus Sheamus was a competently worked, basic, “play the hits” at half-speed match that produced zero drama because neither man is a credible challenger for John Cena’s final opponent, nor would either be an imaginative one if they won.

Nakamura and Sheamus hit all their signature spots, but the crowd didn’t truly come alive until a series of finisher attempts that ultimately ended with the Celtic Warrior hitting a flash Brogue Kick for the win.

There really isn’t much else to say about this, which is proof positive of why it landed in this column.
