3. Camera Cuts Still Ongoing

One of the hopes with a new regime taking over was that we’d see some aesthetic changes to improve our WWE viewing experience.

And while there have been some subtle, but noticeable, differences, 1,000 camera cuts per match is still the norm. There was visibly less zooming and shaking, which we’ll take, but every punch, kick or slam resulted in a new camera angle on impact.

It’ll take time to change this culture, but we don’t need a new shot every 2.5 seconds. Sometimes a move hits a little harder if you just see it come in straight from one view, rather than three.

Hope springs eternal, but this was a bit disappointing to still see.
