6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 23)

Ups...

6. Win If You Can, But Always Cheat!

Pretty Deadly Street Profits

To their credit, Pretty Deadly managed to pivot out of a heat-less chat show segment with Grayson Waller into a fine tag-team showing. Elton Prince and Kit Wilson were gold on NXT, and they deserve every opportunity to make things work on the main roster. This match, unlike the promo, was a step towards solidifying themselves.

Giving the heels a win heading into their title shot next week was wise. It was even better that Deadly cheated to win when Kit held Elton's feet on the ropes so he could pin Angelo Dawkins. This match didn't threaten to overstay its welcome, but it was still long enough to showcase what PD are all about.

Job done.

Fingers crossed Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are in a giving mood over in the UK. Despite Pretty Deadly being "hometown boys" next week, crowds will go daft for KO and Sami. Now, if only WWE could've deleted that Grayson Waller stuff before this match happened.
