6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 23)

Unifying both sets of Women's Tag belts was another smart call. There was never going to be room for two pairs on this roster anymore, and the Alba Fyre/Isla Dawn combo would've found themselves playing second fiddle to Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler anyway. Now, they don't need to do that.

Friday's match was a fab showing from the Scots too. They were given loads here, and showed up well. In fact, Alba and Isla dominated most of the bout before succumbing to a double submission from the now-Undisputed Champs. WWE had two proper teams going at it, which is a promising sign for the division.

Fyre and Dawn will be absolutely fine.

Triple H was surely impressed by what he saw from them on SmackDown, and they'll be rewarded for doing a fine job sometime in the future. For now, sticking every female tag strap on Ronda and Shayna makes perfect sense.
