6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 25)
2. More Bloodline Brilliance
Kevin Owens warning Sami Zayn to shoot first and turn on The Bloodline before they kick his head in was an excellent character moment. It's exactly the kind of thing KO would suggest (heel or baby), and it was amazing when Sami pretended he didn't really understand why he'd turn his back on "family".
Then, almost impossibly, things got even better.
Jey Uso was listening in on the chat, but Zayn didn't know that. When Sami came face-to-face with Jey, he claimed he'd just arrived at the building and hadn't spoken to anybody yet. Uso knew that was a lie, which adds yet another layer of intrigue onto his 'get him to f*ck' story with The Bloodline and the "Honorary Uce".
One has to give WWE immense credit for how they've handled this whole scenario. It's a weekly treat, and the addition of workers like Owens into the narrative hasn't hurt it one bit. Now, when The Bloodline do inevitably boot Sami out, KO can be all like: 'Mate, I warned you!'.
