Maximum Male Models do not need two managers, so it's a positive that creative might move Max Dupri back into an active wrestling role and let Maxxine take charge of Mace and Mansoor's tag run. That could end up being the best thing for all concerned, especially long-term.

Max returning to his LA Knight guise (or shifting into something new) would give him a fair shake on WWE's main roster. There was probs no way Dupri was getting that when Vince McMahon was calling the shots, but Triple H is clearly higher on the dude.

SmackDown teased a split is incoming.

Dupri stormed away from MMM after their loss to New Day. This has been on the cards for weeks too - previously, Max raised an eyebrow at Maxxine trying to muscle in on the big decisions, so it's all rather obvious where this is going.

That's fine. Obvious isn't always bad.
