6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 8)

5. Sonny Kiss Moves Forward

Sonny Kiss
AEW

If Sonny Kiss isn't on your Most Improved list for 2020, your list is wrong. The 'Concrete Rose' is so far beyond the competitor he was at the start of the year that he has quietly emerged as one of AEW's hottest under-the-surface prospects, and while he isn't the finished product yet, 2021 should be big for him.

Kiss had a nice workout opposite Nightmare Factory up-and-comer Baron Black last night. Using his inhuman flexibility to evade the enhancement talent before absorbing the obligatory control period, Sonny eventually lit Black up with his flashy, unique moveset, finishing Baron off with the splitting leg drop.

Quick, effective, and fun, this was a good little squash.
