6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 10)

1. Jurassic Express vs. Joey Janela & Sonny Kiss

Using Dark as a platform to present competitive bouts between teams lurking in a stacked tag scene's middle tiers is smart from a booking perspective, as it allows teams to work their way out of said tiers, while also providing Dark's best match most weeks.

Here, we got Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss testing their mettle against Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. Janela tried to recreate his partner's rope-assisted splits before the bell, failing hilariously. A good, solid, Dark main event followed. Kiss and Janela spent the early stages literally bouncing off Luchasaurus before a more standard layout took hold, with Jungle Boy taking the heat leading to the big Luchasaurus destruction tag. Janela ate the finish not long after this.

Jungle Boy talking trash to 'The Bad Boy' while making the pin was a fun extra touch for a bout that wouldn't have been out of place on the Dynamite midcard.
