The Jericho Appreciation Society vs. Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz program continues to yield enjoyable television through its stark clash of characters, though the time dedicated to advancing it last night may have been better used elsewhere. None of what happened between the opposing groups felt essential.

Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz relieving Angelo Parker of his shoes as Jericho, Jake Hager, and Daniel Garcia arrived on a private jet meant the babyfaces lived up to their "on sight" promise. The six-man tag that followed was disappointingly mid, though. While the wrestlers did a decent job of creating a sense of ringside-wide chaos early on (and Kingston's hot tag was well-built), the layout and execution felt routine. The finish hurt it, too. A mid-strength baseball bat shot to a man's back shouldn't be enough for a pinfall - particularly on a man as tough as Kingston.

The guys worked hard, particularly on the babyface side. They always do. It's a shame that they couldn't find another gear.
