6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (26 April - Review)

4. New Pairing Might Yet Solve The Wardlow Problem

Arn Anderson
AEW

The Wardlow and Arn Anderson pairing is inspired already.

After a short, unadvertised squash match - pointless but at least not impromptu - Arn Anderson revealed why he has endorsed and aligned with Wardlow, and his explanation put his new charge over. It was a simple explanation delivered well - out of the 150 guys backstage, Wardlow is the special one - and Arn is more than authoritative to get you to believe him. Also, Wardlow is a better actor than talker. The "Wardlow's World" stuff was exposing him. Better on a pre-tape, Arn is a strong live mouthpiece. Christian Cage and Luchasaurus confronted Wardlow before thinking better of it, teasing two matches, hopefully.

Wardlow and Luchasaurus have worked a very fun hoss sprint before, where Cage and his sumptuous craftsmanship could work Wardlow's best lengthy back-and-forth yet.
