6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Feb 24)

Ups...

6. How To Sell A Match

Jon Moxley
AEW

A typically great Jon Moxley promo followed his shellacking of Ryan Nemeth, with the fired-up former World Champion doing everything in his power to make you just as amped as he is for the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.

This was textbook Mox. Rough-edged and believable, he spoke of crawling through landmines and barbed wire to get back to the top, saying he's addicted to living close to the flame. Images of fire, blood, burns, torture and agony give him a sick thrill that he can't get enough of. Even if Omega is luring him into a Revolution trap, the idea of the deathmatch is too attractive for him to resist, and if it all comes to an end next Sunday, he reckons it's a perfect way to go out.

Sat on a steel chair in the middle of the ring, Moxley once again presented himself as the perfect babyface badass. This is his realm, sure, but he isn't overconfident even when he should hold a significant advantage, coming off as a give-no-f*cks rogue who doesn't care if he's marching to his doom or not.
