It was a shame for the live crowd that the Double Or Nothing follow-up of MJF's return was "just" a video package, but watching at home, AEW really did the work here.
Recounting the former World Champion's career thus far as an epic saga peaking with his enthusiastic pay-per-view returned, this continued to seemingly quash any further afters with the Undisputed Kingdom in an effort to reestablish the significance and importance of the 'Salt Of The Earth'.
A voiceover recapping the various records and achievements he'd garnered over his five years with the organisation made it clear that a tippy top guy was back in the fold, even if the company reverted to type by randomly rolling the recently-returned RUSH out there to take the job as his designated first win back. Otherwise, this was tremendously well-made and presented stuff, right up to The Young Bucks killing the pop by entering the arena as fans buzzed for the Burberry.
