6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (October 25 - Results & Review)

2. MJF's Full Plate

MJF Kenny Omega

Juice Robinson might have lost to MJF, but that was one of several wars the AEW Champion was forced to wage in a tremendous first thirty minutes of table-setting. Fitting, considering how full the AEW Champion's plate has become.

In Adam Cole's absence, MJF finds himself all alone but now can't be. Jay White challenged him to a four-on-four ahead of Full Gear, forcing him to need four partners. Three of them could have been The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass, but then maybe not - he rejected Max Caster's scissor offer after they saved him from a 'Bang Bang Gang Beatdown'. Back to the pay-per-view - he'll pull double duty yet again, and needs a partner for that. The Gunns want the ROH belts, and MJF obliged.

He couldn't make it to the back before facing off with with Kenny Omega. That gripping encounter resulted in an AEW Championship match being booked for this Saturday, throwing yet more potential plans into disarray.

Elsewhere on the show, a fuming Wardlow blamed MJF for the direction his career has taken, and Samoa Joe offered an uneasy show of support in the tag match in exchange for a future title shot. Lots of dangerous people want their pounds of flesh, and that's without knowing who continues to kick about in that Devil mask.

With "World's End" on the horizon, December 30th is increasingly looking like where MJF's own very busy one could come crashing down, but that's assuming it doesn't happen long before then.
