6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday (Results & Review)

5. More Of The Same, But The Same Kicked Ass

Wardlow Matt Sydal
AEW

Wardlow squashed Matt Sydal in a follow-up from last week's return.

While not quite as delightfully gruesome as last week's assault, the powerbomb symphony was still not something you'd want to be on the end of. It's actually less a Powerbomb symphony than a Powerbomb blast beat these days: a relentless, thudding assault. It looks awesome, and Wardlow's body language is excellent. It's the opposite of a performance. Sick of the bull - this is a wrestler who has been screwed over in storylines more than once - he has set about doing his business as efficiently and as violently as possible.

In this encroaching content era, in a time of friendship, that level of disgust and violence is more than welcome.
