6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (19 August)

3. Morrisey's Not Done, Apparently

W. Morrissey and Eddie Edwards' feud is still a thing, according to the duo.

Eddie stumbled out from the back at the onset of the show as Josh Mathews and Gia Miller were hyping the audience with regards to Christian Cage being the World Champion, followed closely by Morrissey. A fine brawl ensued thereafter, the highlight of which saw Eddie recklessly shoved back-first into the corner post. Sami Callihan saved Eddie from a Powerbomb attempt, creating a decent chunk of storytelling there.

This didn't land, unfortunately. Eddie definitively ended the rivalry at Homecoming, pinning the former Big Cass with a chain-assisted Boston Knee Party. Morrissey is allowed to be upset about his unpinned streak ending, however, he'll get nowhere by constantly following Eddie's shadow.
