6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 22)
1. Talk, Talk, Talk
Like with the post-Slammiversary episode, the majority of this edition featured Josh Mathews and Scott D'Amore chatting about the fallout from Bound For Glory.
Topics included the importance of Impact's Knockouts division, some of the biggest acquisitions to the Impact roster over the past year (including Jordynne Grace, TJP, and Willie Mack), and what's next for some of Impact's rivals, mainly talking about Brian Cage vs. Sami Callihan, and Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards. While these talk segments were fine enough, it was tiresome having to sit through a whole load of them.
Obviously, there's not much Impact could do about this. They only had two exclusive matches taped before Bound For Glory went on air (one of which was pulled from the main card), and their next set of television tapings isn't until this coming weekend. As a result, this was their only option aside from just not airing a new episode. However, it's still a Down because who tunes into a two-hour wrestling show only to receive two new matches?
