6 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's NXT (19 Feb)

1. Sinking Like A Stone

Chelsea Green
NXT

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Kayden Carter deserves better.

Her victory over Chelsea Green a number of weeks ago should have helped her get a foothold in the women's division. After playing jobber to the top stars on the brand, she looked like one of the better candidates for a post-Takeover (probably post-WrestleMania) shakeup push but, since that win, she's not been seen.

It's understandable given the improbable depth she's got to compete with, but at the very least her next appearance should have done more than simply surrender all that momentum back to the woman she took it from in the first place. Whatever the long-term plan is for Chelsea Green and The Robert Stone Brand it feels clawingly underwhelming at this point, and this by-the-numbers TV match with an inconclusive finish won't do anything to change that.
