4. You Again?

Late in the day, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that the teams of Tyler Breeze and Fandango, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, and Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde (Legado del Fantasma) would all be battling it out in a triple threat match for the honour of becoming number one contenders to Imperium's NXT Tag Team Championships.

The match itself delivered exactly what most would expect from the units. Fandango gyrated, Lorcan and Burch beat the p*ss out of everyone, and Legado del Fantasma showcased exactly why they must be considered as a whole lot more than just Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar's henchmen.

Mendoza and Wilde's high flying offence throughout marked them out as clearly the most intriguing potential opponents for Imperium going forward. Yet, in the blink of an eye, Breeze caught Lorcan with a superkick and Breezango guaranteed themselves another shot at Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner.

Even though the teams will most likely put on another enjoyable encounter, giving Legado del Fantasma the chance to further add to their Championship collection felt like the logical step forward and this odd call will probably just lead to the faction interfering with Breezango's eventual title shot.

Not the best of starts to your landmark thirtieth TakeOver, but, hey ho.
