4. Rocky Road Ahead

The relationship between Eddie and Alisha Edwards may be heading for a rocky road, if it hasn't already at least, following this week's ongoings.

Alisha tried to persuade her husband to stay away from the likes of Killer Kross, something that Eddie simply ignored. Later on in the episode, Eddie again ignored his wife when she pleaded for him to stop beating Kross to a pulp, saying that it's not like him. Where's she been for the last 15 months or so then? As expected, Eddie again dismissed the pleas of his dear wife and continued to swing away with the weapon.

Ever since Eddie Edwards started becoming deranged following the Sami Callihan incident last year, his wife has become a minor part in his story arc, focusing more on her own career when she is around. That's a good thing in some ways as it means less focus on her being Eddie's wife and more attention towards her actually being a wrestler in her own right. Let's hope that first part remains the same, and this week's interactions don't lead to some sort of breakup story for the Edwards down the line.
