Show of hands: who had Maxxine Dupri being involved in a fun, compelling storyline in 2025?

In reality, the outcome of this feud truly isn’t in doubt. Becky Lynch won’t be losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to someone who can count her number of passable wrestling matches on one hand, but Lynch has done yeoman’s work in getting the most mileage out of her rivalry with the Alpha Academy’s valet, showing just enough ass to make fans believe. And according to an irate Becky on Monday night, Maxxine is believing in her good fortune as well, but luck will only carry her so far.

The Man interrupted the announcers by climbing onto the desk because she had “a lot to get off my chest.” Becky unloaded on The Vision, referee Jessika Carr, and Raw GM Adam Pearce before turning her attention to Dupri. She threatened to end Maxxine’s fantasy world and her career before storming off.

This was quick, simple, and effective. It reminded everyone of the feud, that Maxxine had gone off to train with an unnamed mentor, and that Lynch might have been bested a couple of times, but she really is one of the best in the world.

Then, for good measure, they threw in a staredown between Becky and Asuka as the Kabuki Warriors made their entrance, because that is a feud that could melt your television when both are at their best.
